5th EAYW webinar: Ecosystems for Innovation
21 st April 2022, 9:30 (10:00) – 12:00

Are you interested in exploring the concept of the ecosystem of innovation? What is the role of youth workers in the future, related to their ecosystem? And how can you think together, test new solutions and generate changes? These are the questions we will be talking about in our last #EAYW Webinar “Ecosystems for Innovation” on 21st April 2022, 9:30 – 12:00 CET.

Youth Work is evolving. We are learning together that interconnection is crucial. The most important of today’s problems are systemic in their nature. Therefore, they require whole-system responses – formal and non-formal, private and non-profit, institutions and civil society. In the future, cooperation will be essential to find sustainable responses to the new challenges of the world and the new needs of young people.

In our next – and last – EAYW webinar, we will be exploring the concept of Innovation Ecosystems: systems that will allow youth workers, young people and other actors to think together, test new solutions, create radically new ways of cooperation and generate the changes we are collectively seeking.

What is the role that youth workers need to play in the future, and how can or should they work together with other “players” in their ecosystem?

The EAYW research team will share their findings on this topic from the recent study on Innovation in Youth Work, and Anita Silva and Darko Markovic will help the participants to explore the characteristics, advantages and limitations of youth work innovation ecosystems.

The webinar will start at 9:30 with optional 20 minutes of well-being activities, led again by embodiment trainer Sandra Gojić. From 10.00 – 12.00, the content-part of the webinar will include short inputs as well as moments of exchange among participants allowing you to relate the inputs to your and the other participants’ youth work-related experiences.
