Save the date: The 4th EAYW will take place from 5 – 8 May 2026!

This was decided by the Steering Group and the Advisory Board of the EAYW at their joint meeting at the end of October 2024, where they agreed on the objectives and main activities of the EAYW for the coming two-year period. The EAYW Steering Group consists of representatives of the National Agencies that are the leading partners of the EAYW, while the Advisory Board includes 14 experts from different fields of and related to youth work.

During the joint meeting, the discussions were based on the participants’ evaluation of the 3rd EAYW event. The received feedback was not only very positive but also rich in comments and suggestions. A big thank you to all those who took the time in Kranjska Gora to share your opinion with us!

In the period leading up to the next residential Academy event, we will focus on the dissemination and the follow up of the products developed in 2023 – 2024.

In 2025, we plan to offer possibilities to learn about and engage with the outcomes of the study in different (hopefully also innovative 😊) ways online.  We are also planning in-person meetings, such as another resonance workshop as well as a workshop focusing on practical tools that can support futures work and the use of the research outcomes in youth work activities.

We will also assess the pilot “Innovation+” workshops supporting in Erasmus+ youth projects that were held by National Agencies in 2023/2024 and further develop the Innovation+ workshop and the Toolbox based on these first experiences.

The focus of the 4th EAYW event will be discussed and announced by summer 2025. Online bridging activities should be organised from autumn 2025 – spring 2026 to further build the EAYW community and stimulate communication on topics related to the development and futures of youth work in Europe.

Stay tuned for more news in the coming weeks about how you can join in, engage with innovation and get ready for the futures of youth work!
