We are inviting practitioners from across Europe (and beyond) to contribute to the programme of the 4th EAYW event, taking place 5-8 May 2026 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia in the form of contribution.

This edition is of the EAYW a bridging event: a moment to celebrate what has been built through the Academy so far, while also looking ahead: connecting insights, strengthening resilience, and identifying practical steps youth work can take in uncertain times.

Therefore, if you have a practice, tool, approach, or inspiring “spark” that can help youth work move forward – we invite you to apply to our Call. Some contributions will be presented within Deep Dive sessions – you can find more information about the themes of the Deep Dives in our call.

We are looking for contributions that clearly aim to support future-oriented approaches and a sense of initiative and agency in youth work, and empower young people to face emerging challenges through a new approach or perspective.

Within this frame, we are looking for three different kinds of contributions for specific identified contexts:

  • Examples of practices or projects from youth work or a related field to be presented during a Deep Dive session – we are looking for one practice per thematic session, so 6 practices altoghether;
  • Short (ca. 15 min.) inspiring inputs from inside or outside of youth work to be presented during a Deep Dive session – we are looking for 1 to 2 inputs per Deep Dive;
  • “Future flavour” or future literacy tools to be experienced hands-on in a Tools Lab on 7 May – we are looking for 5 to 6 tools

5 people giving each other a high five all togetherEAYW is a peer-learning event, and whenever possible we aim to have contributors present on site as participants during the event. Some contributions (especially “sparks”) may also be delivered online or pre-recorded, depending on feasibility. Selected contributors will be asked to provide a short follow-up resource (e.g., brief description, link, PDF, slides) which will be used as post-event materials.

Applications are open until 11 February 2026. If you are interested and need more information, you can find the Call, with the application link HERE.

Good luck and see you at the Academy!
