Do you love turning conversations into interesting and readable stories people want to read? Do you have the knowledge of European youth work, trends and developments? We’re looking for one rapporteur to help capture the key moments, ideas and outcomes of the 4th EAYW event!
We are looking for a rapporteur for the 4th EAYW event that will be held from 5-8 May 2026 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Rapporteur will work closely with the EAYW communication expert and coordinator to create vivid and online-friendly documentation in a form of engaging articles, rather than a report.
Main responsibilities of the rapporteur would be:
-
Write a main multi-media article: what happened, why it matters (with support on video/interview ideas);
-
Write 2 short plenary articles (approx. 300-400 words each);
-
Coordinate 6 thematic “Deep Dive” articles (each 700-900 words, written by different writers) to align style, focus and quality;
-
Create 3 “Seeds of action” interviews with participants after the event (written and/or video-based);
-
Support participant contributions to quick “story corner” reflections during the event.
You’re a great match if you understand European youth work and can follow complex discussions quickly, write clear, journalistic English that works well online (for both the website and social media), and have a good eye for key messages, strong quotes, useful tools, and those “so what?” moments that make the content meaningful. Multi-media skills (like short video, audio, or interviews) are a plus.
More details regarding the work description and expected profile of rapporteur can be found in the Call for rapporteurs. Deadline to apply is 6 February 2026.

If you’re interested in futures-thinking, innovation, and youth work – and you can make interesting stories of events, we invite you to apply! Good luck!
