Here you can find our podcasts with experts, with two main focuses: innovation and futures of youth work.

Which societal trends might shape the future of youth work until 2050? What environmental and technological developments could influence youth work in the coming years? And which emerging practices have the potential to grow and drive the field forward? These questions are explored in our EAYW expert video podcasts.

In the framework of the research project “Futures of Youth Work,” we set out to examine emerging and future societal developments relevant to young people and youth work, and to develop scenarios for how youth work might evolve. As part of the research, we conducted interviews with experts from various fields about future developments and their potential impact on youth work. In this podcast edition, we share some of the key points from those conversations.

Alongside this, our second podcast edition focuses on quality projects, innovation, and emerging trends in youth work. It opens up conversations for the community of practice to get inspired, explore new perspectives, and hear insights from youth work experts across Europe. We also include a special episode linked to the Study on Innovation in Youth Work.

All videos are 5–10 minutes long, making them easy to watch at your convenience.
