We are happy to invite you to the second webinar of a series of three webinars on the topic of “Meet your future – Tools to navigate the future of youth work”.

The webinars, based on the Futures Toolbox and the Futures of Youth Work research are 2-hour long interactive online sessions where you have the chance to “taste” a bit of the tools and explore, together with other colleagues from different parts of Europe, how you can start future-related reflections in your context (your team, youth organisation, or youth worker community).

The second webinar: “Widening horizons and shifting perspectives on the future”, will happen on the 22 of January 2026 from 10.00 – 12.00 CET.

This webinar will guide us in broadening our focus and enhancing our ability to see the future from various perspectives. In this webinar we will be exploring two tools from the Futures Toolbox: The Three Horizons and Window to the Future game. During the webinar, you will learn what the three horizons are in future thinking, how to use them when considering the future of youth work, and how to approach future conversations in a more playful way through games. You’ll also look at the value of shifting your perspective toward the future and how you can apply these methods in your own context.

The webinar will be facilitated by: Anita Silva, Darko Markovic and Sabrina Apitz.

We welcome all participants that are professionals (including volunteers) in youth work or in a field related to it.

Calls for registration will be opened for each webinar separately. Registrations open about a month before the webinar and are open until 3 days before it takes place.

If you are interested, you are welcome to register by filling in the attached application form by 20 January 2025 – HERE.
